Loss is a project which discusses the idea of maternity in a time where my own children no longer really depend on me.
It is a project to discuss and challenge how much the role of being a mother fullfils or disguise the person who is behind the mother.
What does it mean to have a family? What does this sacred institution makes to a person? Why we need to wrap ourselves in so many layers? Can those layers make the person disappear?
Loss is about the pain when I can no longer visit my own childhood with the help of my children.
Loss is about finding the strength on the other side of the word and to obtain resiliance by experiencing the pain and expressing it in images.
